TAGGING SERVICE FAQ

ARE THE TAGGERS I CAN HIRE OFF OF THE KX TAGGING FACEBOOK PAGE HIRED OR VETTED BY KIDS EXCHANGE? 

NO.  Kids Exchange simply opened a FB page to allow our KX Community to reach each other.  Some KX parents would like to make extra money while other KX parents are too busy to tag their own items.  KX simply allows you guys to communicate with each other through this FB page but KX does not vet or hire the Taggers.  

CAN I STILL SHOP THE SELLERS’ PRIVATE DAY ON THURSDAY?

YES! You are still a KX Seller and you will get the same Seller’s Packet that contains (2) wrist bands to attend the Thursday Sale.  Whoever drops your items off for you will have your (2) Seller bands and you will need to get them from your Tagger. 

CAN I TAG SOME ITEMS MYSELF AND USE THE TAGGING SERVICE FOR OTHER ITEMS?

*Because there is no way to differentiate between what you put out in the sale and what someone else tags for you (your same Seller # is used for the service), you will need need to work this out with the person you hire to tag for you.  It will be easier to pay per item (and not a percentage) if you choose to tag some items yourself.  

DO I NEED TO REGISTER FOR THE SALE ON THE KIDS EXCHANGE SITE OR IS THIS DONE FOR ME?
If you have not yet registered for the upcoming sale on the KX website, please do so now. If you have never sold with us before, go to www.KXConsign.comand choose ‘login’ from the top right corner. You will be able to ‘create an account’ there and will be given access to your username and password. If you forget to do this, your Tagger can do it for you when the pick up your items, but it will speed up the process if you will please register yourself.

MY TAGGER IS ASKING FOR MY KX USERNAME AND PASSWORD. WHERE CAN I FIND THESE?

Please go to KXConsign.com (or KidsExchagne.net) and choose ‘LOGIN’ at the top right corner of the page. There you will see a prompt to help you is you forgot your Username and / or password. Follow the prompts to get this info. Once you have your Username and Password, please give these to your Tagger.  They will need them to print your tags.  

HOW DO YOU PRICE MY ITEMS?

Each Tagger works independently and is not part of the Kids Exchange Business.  Please discuss pricing directly with your Tagger 

CAN I DESIGNATE SOME PRICES? AM I ALLOWED TO GIVE INPUT?

ABSOLUTELY! Please feel free to make a note of any special instructions for more expensive items (for example: stroller not to go 1⁄2, etc. ). You are also welcome to have a $5 bag, $10 bag, etc. This type of instruction is welcome by KX Tagging but is not required. You are welcome to be as involved (or uninvolved) as you would like to be in the tagging / pricing process.  With clothing, you may mark a price with a piece of masking tape if you so desire. 

DO I NEED TO BRING HANGERS? DO MY ITEMS NEED TO BE HUNG?

Each independent Tagger works differently.  Please ask your Tagger how you should bring the items to them.  

HOW DO MY ITEMS GET TO THE TAGGER?

 You will work this out with your Tagger.  Some Taggers offer pick-up service while other require that you drop the items off. 

HOW TO I GET PAID?

If you are paying a percentage, KX will report your proceeds to your Tagger and you will pay them directly.  If you are paying per item or per bag, your Tagger will discuss payment options with you. 

WHAT CAN I NOT BRING?

*No recalled items. (Sellers are responsible NOT to bring recalled items. KX Tagging DOES NOT check for recalls.
*No mattresses
*No adult items.

*No maternity clothing

*No crib that do not meet current safety regulations
*No carseats with a manufactured date older than 6 years.
