About the Owners

Fourteen years ago, two sisters (Julie Blaising and Amy Winstead) and their mother (Doris O’Dell) stumbled across a recession proof, pro-community industry. Through ‘trial & error’, they capitalized on the market and built their flagship Sale in Raleigh NC into the largest consignment event in the nation. From the beginning, they have felt blessed to be able to serve the community in a tangible way. They believe that God has opened the door for them to serve others and strive to honor Christ in all they do. They have been overwhelmed by the support and loyalty of over 3000+ Sellers, 700+ Volunteers and 30,000+ shoppers who attend their bi-annual events.

In 2011, Julie and Amy (along with their husbands Bill and Bob) began looking for business men and women with a passion for the consignment & event industries to come along side and begin opening Sales in communities across the United States. Kids Exchange International Franchise program will kick off in Aprill 2011 with (8) new Franchisees providing Sales in their communities.

The Kids Exchange Corporate Team has been on both the Franchisor and Franchisee side of business throughout their years as business owners. They specialize in training people to open their own small business. Bob Winstead hosted and produced ‘Entrepreneurs: Reality TV’ where he guided 200 contestants through the process of opening a business. Your corporate team also includes Athletic Coaches, Biblical growth leaders and motivational & encouragement speakers. They have been blessed with a God given skill and desire to help others succeed, and are honored to provide Kids Exchange Sales to your community.
